Gminne systemy gospodarowania odpadami komunalnymi w ujęciu logistycznym

Abstract
The article shows the need for the use of logistics by municipalities in developing the waste management systems. Logistics systems of waste management provide efficient management the whole of processes and also they are helpful in the implementation of legislation and planning costly and long-term investments. Educational aspect of the logistics system is helpful in developing environmental awareness. As an example, the new waste management system in the Capital City Warsaw is rated. Also it has been studied the implementation of the planned system. Moreover, there are summarized the effects of the three-year implementation of the reform in the management of municipal waste.
