Gogol’s works carnival in the context of his philosophy

Abstract
The article is devoted to the identification of N. Gogol’s carnival spirit as an essential part of writer’s philosophy. It is shown that N. Gogol’s thinking about the soul dialogical nature, necessity for reconsideration of the aesthetic values of humanism correspond to the writer’s new principles of the artistic world.
