Mechanism of functioning of onomatopoeic lexis in modern Korean Language

Abstract

The suggested article studies the mechanism of functioning of onomatopoeic lexis in modern Korean Language. A particular attention is being paid to the facts, which account for the specificity of Korean onomatopoeic units. In accordance with a degree of meaning realization all Korean onomatopes were divided into three groups: with maximal, minimal and partial degree of realization.
