GOVERNMENT BONDS ANALYSIS AND EVALUATION AS AN INVESTMENT INSTRUMENT

Abstract
The role of government securities in the financial system and their place in the investment market are studied in the article. The analysis of government bonds using as an investment instrument by different groups of investors are researched. There are also calculated the "risk-yield" ratio for debt instruments using modern portfolio theory tools and analyzed their major risks. Proposal to improve the investment attractiveness of government bonds are formed.
