Green port incentives in the European cruise industry

Abstract
This article collects, combines and assess most crucial information regarding practised port dues and incentives in ports which enhance ports’ competitiveness and attract calls of “green” cruise lines. It focuses on the economic and environmental importance of solutions currently used in Europe including Baltic Sea Region with recommendations for the future, presentation of the most crucial and innovative green systems and providing best practices from the other areas.<br/><br/>
