HIGH-QUALITY DRINKING WATER IS THE BASIC COMPONENT OF HUMAN LIFE

Abstract
The issue of providing the population with high quality and safe for health drinking water was researched. Current state of sources of drinking water supply and degree of their pollution was determined. Hygienic assessment of drinking water supply both in Ukraine and in individual regions was carried out. The quality of tap water coming to the population was determined. Measures to improve the quality of drinking water that supplied to the population was developed.
