Abstract
Hijab is one of the most important concepts in Islamic Sharia. It has not been practiced only in the Muslim era, but in old civilizations as well. The literal meaning of Hijab, the circumstances in which the order of Hijab has been revealed. The concept of Hijab in old civilizations and two well known Muslim schools of thoughts about Hijab. This is an analytical study of above mentioned school of thoughts in the light of A’isha’s (May Allah be pleased with her) narrations. The study unveiles the true understanding of Hijab in modern era
