Abstract
Lumbar and leg pain caused by lumbar disc herniation (LDH) not only affects the normal work and rest of patients, but also causes mental illness to varying degrees. Therefore, the fundamental purpose of treatment is to relieve the pain of patients and improve their quality of life. Collagenase chemonucleolysis has been applied in the treatment of LDH earlier, and with the continuous optimization and development of its technology, it has brought good clinical benefits for patients. This paper mainly reviews and analyzes its historical origin, development course and application status at home and abroad, so as to provide reference for the clinical treatment of LDH.
