Collagenase chemonucleolysis has been applied in the treatment of LDH earlier, and with the continuous optimization and development of its technology, it has brought good clinical benefits for patients. This paper mainly reviews and analyzes its historical origin, development course and application status at home and abroad, so as to provide reference for the clinical treatment of LDH.
