Holes Formation in Wireless Sensor’s Network
Journal Title: Journal of Computing and Management Studies (JCMS) - Year 2017, Vol 1, Issue 3
Abstract
A wireless sensor networks is composed of a large number of tiny sensor nodes, which are densely and randomly deployed to collect information about certain phenomenon in an area. Sensor nodes are randomly deployed and once deployed they do not need to be manually engineered. A sensor node has the self-organization capability and hence once deployed all the nodes start sensing the environment and communicate each other. When a sensor node fails to perform its designated function and cannot rout the data it is considered as a destroyed node. There are various reasons of node destruction. The contribution of this paper is to analyze node destruction and hole formation in Wireless Sensor’s Network.
