Hypertension in pregnant women

Abstract
Hypertension in pregnancy is, despite of progress in medical science, an important cause of maternal, fetal and neonatal morbidity and mortality. It occurs in approximately 3-15% of pregnancies and in 70% of women with first gestation. The aim of this article is to provide guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of high blood pressure in pregnancy based on ESH, PSH and ESC guidelines and current references.
