Identification and assessment of the environmental aspects according to the ISO 14001 standard

Abstract
This article presents principles of identification and assessment of the environmental aspects required by the Environmental Management System based on the ISO 14001 standard. The course of preparing the procedure of identification and assessment of the environmental aspects, with particular consideration of methods for identification of activities, products and services, environmental aspects and impacts related to the plant’s activity were discussed. In this article, possibilities of using the environmental risk analysis for the assessment of identified environmental aspects and impacts were also characterised.
