Journal Title: Aquaculture, Aquarium, Conservation & Legislation - International Journal of the Bioflux Society - Year 2013, Vol 6, Issue 2

Considerations upon energetic efficiency of a recirculating aquatic system (RAS) for super intensive fish culture
The efficiency of the aquaculture using recirculating systems depends on many factors among which the most important it is the energy consumption of the system. To assure a high level energy conservation in an aquatic re...
The effects of COX2-inhibitors (etoricoxib and etodolac) on growth rate and mortality in Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus)
The non-steroidal anti inflammatory drugs represent one of the most commonly detected compounds in sewage treatment plant (STP) effluent and surface water with scarce information concerning possible ecotoxicological risk...
Observations on fish grazing of the cultured kelps Undaria pinnatifida and Saccharina latissima (Phaeophyceae, Laminariales) in Spanish Atlantic waters
Despite the great importance of grazing by herbivorous fishes in the marine environment, the knowledge of this phenomenon on seaweeds cultivation is very limited. Indeed, there is not available information on the effects...
