"Identification of Personality" vs "Identity of Personality": Correlation of Concepts.

Abstract
The article deals with the concept of identification and identity of personality which is one of the most controversial problems in the Humanities. The terms mentioned speak to the very definition of an entity – an organization, a group and have always been a subtext of many strategy sessions, organization development initiatives and socializing efforts. The article contains information on the distinctive characteristics of identification in comparison with the notion of identity which are root constructs in organizational phenomena. The concept of identite and discourse community is analyzed. The article contains the characteristics of social and personal identities, kinds and forms of identification are presented. Considerable attention is drawn to the consideration of the concept of gender and professional identity. Gender identity is defined as a personal conception of oneself as male or female. This concept is intimately related to the concept of gender role, which is defined as the outward manifestations of personality that reflect the gender identity. Professional identity is constructed through discourse between individuals and identities are continually being constructed and altered. Power processes in team-based work are processes of meaning and identity formation. These induce the team members to consent to dominant organizational views even if these pose potential disadvantages.
