Identifying the Dimensions of Talent Management Strategies

Abstract

Some scholars consider the talent management as an absolute alternative to the human resource management. Studies in this context are often focused on specific approaches of human resource such as recruitment, leadership development, and succession planning, and so on. This study seeks to explore dimensions of talent management. Accordingly, dimensions of talent management strategy include talent techniques (recruiting and selection, performance management, and compensating services), talent management systems (employees training or meritocratic) and resource or talent bank strategy and sustainable competitive advantage (organization’s atmosphere and culture).
