Abstract
We analyze the literary work of Ilya Kiriak native Pokuttya in terms of immigration reality in Canada. Ilya Kiriak- journalist, writer, teacher and public figure. The attention paid to the educational activities of the teacher, revealed his role in the development of ridnomovnogo schooling, cultural and educational Ukrainian life in Canada.
