Impact of Basel III decisions In the process of deciding to adjust the precautionary standards of the Bank of Algeria

Abstract
This study aims to highlight the role of the Bank of Algeria in the regulation of prudential rules according to the Basel III decisions, and to achieve the objectives of this study, we used the descriptive method. The process of upgrading the national regulatory framework and adapting it to best banking supervision practices is being accelerated in 2014 by the revision of the prudential rules of the Basel II standard approach, in particular with the introduction of a so-called 2.5% security cushion which, for its part, meets the requirements of Basel III.With the entry into force of the Basel II and III provisions from 1 October 2014, bank risk management is strengthened with the Support for operational and market risk hedging and bank capital building. On the basis of the foregoing, the problem is as follows: what is the impact of the Basel III decisions on the prudential rules of the Bank of Algeria?
