IMPLEMENTATION OF FUNDAMENTAL SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH IN CONDITIONS OF THE DIGITAL ECONOMY

Abstract
Problem setting. In the economic and social life of Ukraine transformational processes are taking place in recent years characterized using modern innovative approaches, methodologies and technologies, such as Internet of things, cloud infrastructure, Blockchain, Mobile ID, shareding economy, promotion of the Big Data processing technique. One of the areas of social life that needs decisive changes is the scientific work, in particular, fundamental research. Analysis of recent researches and publications. Problems of distance work in legal science were studied by the following researchers: N.M. Vapnyarchuk, O. V. Demchenko, I.V. Lytovchenko and others. Target of research. To study the peculiarities of the implementation of fundamental research in the digital economy and to establish the ratio between the concepts of "remote labor regime" of scientists and the digital workplace, which is referred to in the Concept for the Development of the Digital Economy and Society for 2018-2020. Article’s main body. The concept of digital workplaces is spreading extremely quickly in the business environment and is positively perceived by the vast majority of employees who like flexible ways of working, the opportunity to work at home, on vacation, that is, from any place. The remote labor regime for employees of research institutions cannot be considered as the introduction of the concept digital places in the field of scientific and scientific and technical activities. The remote labor regime provides researchers with mobility work, and work on a digital workplace is not just mobile, but more virtual, based on the latest communicative technologies. Conclusions and prospects for the development. The introduction of the concept of digital workplaces will facilitate the modernization of scientific activities and, in particular, fundamental research. This will allow, in addition, to change approaches to the standardization of scientific work, since the proliferation of digital jobs in the economy and society requires a proper legal legalization of new legal relationships. For the full use of the remote mode of work and the application of the concept of digital workplaces when fundamental research is carried out by scholars, it is necessary to provide legal support to the following issues: 1) to define legally the notions of "distance work" and "remote labor regime" of researchers; 2) to provide the official definition of the digital workplace and its characteristics; 3) to establish the peculiarities of the implementation of fundamental research using the remote mode of work and digital workplace; 4) to determine the rights, duties and responsibility of researchers and research institutions as employers in the implementation of fundamental research using the remote mode of work and digital workplace.
