Implementation of Shape Descriptor Based On Distance Interior Ratio for Image Retrieval
Journal Title: International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology (IJRASET) - Year 2015, Vol 3, Issue 5
Abstract
We propose a method to improve the accuracy, query time and the quality of shape-based image retrieval. We exemplify precise shape descriptor named DIR (Distance Interior Ratio) that is invariable to rotation and scaling. Here histogram based shape matching of given query image with the dataset is done. An experimental result shows a higher retrieval rate (performance) and efficient query time.

Audio Watermarking Based on Empirical Mode Decomposition
an audio watermarking based on Empirical mode decomposition is proposed. The watermark is embedded in the final residual because of the intrinsic feature of the final residual. The audio signal is divided into set of fr...

In this paper, we present FoCUS (Forum Crawler Under Supervision), a supervised web-scale forum crawler. The goal of FoCUS is to only trawl relevant forum content from the web with minimal overhead. Forum threads contai...
Remote Monitoring Of Vital Signs in Chronic Heart Failure Patients Using Zigbee
In an increasingly busy world people have no time to even to attend their health. In such a situation people often ignore routine checkups that are necessary especially for patients with heart failure. We proposes a mod...
Implementation of Binary Mask Algorithm for Noise Reduction in Traffic Environment
In this paper, we present a real-time implementation of the binary masking algorithm, which has been shown to significantly reduce the noise and improves speech-in-noise intelligibility. Binary masking algorithm is an e...
