Implementation of Six Sigma to Reduce Rejection Rate in Screw
Journal Title: Saudi Journal of Engineering and Technology - Year 2017, Vol 2, Issue 7
Abstract
AbstractThe six sigma methodology is most powerful quality improvement technique which is used for achieving, maintaining and maximizing the business success. Six sigma is based on understanding the customer needs and expectation. This study mainly focused on six sigma quality philosophy and other related philosophy that is implemented in these studies to identify the rejection problem which are facing by a manufacturing industry. The six sigma philosophy provides a step-wise quality improvement methodology in which statistical techniques is used for check the changes in the process. Keywords: six sigma, customer, expectation

Randic and General Randic Indcies of Unicyclic Graphs
Abstract: Let a simple graph G is a connected graph. The General Randic Index GR(G) of a graph G is defined as GR(G) = ∑ (ρuρv )t ; uv ∈ E(G) where ρu and ρv are the degree of vertices u and v....
Evaluation of Parshall flume efficiency for free flow condition open channel
Abstract: Parshall flume provides economical and flexible water measurement capabilities for a wide variety of open channel flow situations. The advantages of this structure include minimal head loss, low construction co...
An Active Path Finding Robot Based on Quantum Mechanics
Abstract: By studying quantum state, quantum state spaces as well as multiple qubits of quantum mechanics, it is found that an active path finding robot can be designed on the basis of quantum mechanics. To begin with, q...
