Implementation of Six Sigma to Reduce Rejection Rate in Screw
Journal Title: Saudi Journal of Engineering and Technology - Year 2017, Vol 2, Issue 7
Abstract
AbstractThe six sigma methodology is most powerful quality improvement technique which is used for achieving, maintaining and maximizing the business success. Six sigma is based on understanding the customer needs and expectation. This study mainly focused on six sigma quality philosophy and other related philosophy that is implemented in these studies to identify the rejection problem which are facing by a manufacturing industry. The six sigma philosophy provides a step-wise quality improvement methodology in which statistical techniques is used for check the changes in the process. Keywords: six sigma, customer, expectation

A study of First geometric-Arithmetic Index with Chemical Applications
Abstract: The first geometric–arithmetic index 〖GA〗_1 is found to be useful in compute the numerical value of certain graphs and chemical graphs, which is defined as〖GA〗_1=∑_(uv∈E(G))▒(2√(d_u d_v ))/(d_u+d_v ). We de...
Effect of the Different Energy of Compaction on Subbse Course of Roads
Abstract: Compaction of subbase is often the main load-bearing layer of a pavement. It is designed to evenly spread the load of the paving, it compacted with heavy equipment until the material forms a dense layer of inte...
Effect of Waste Cement Dust as Mineral Filler on Marshall Properties of Hot Mix Asphalt
Abstract:Using cement dust in asphalt mixing can have many environmental advantages. Before widely adapting cement dust in asphalt paving, trial sections and adequate provisions should be provided. By pass cement dust is...
Prediction Model with Selection of Best Prediction Algorithm for Big Data
Abstract:Big data can be defined as high volume, high velocity and high variety of data that require high performance processing. Predictive modelling is a process of creating a model to predict the future behavior from...
