Implementation of the EFQM Excellence Model – determinants

Abstract
The purpose of this article is to provide a tool which will no doubt con-tributed to the development of systems thinking for the organization. Rating requires objectivity, because the content of this article will describe the advantages and disadvantages of the model and the conclusions will be presented in an attempt to identify opportunities to improve or adapt the tools of this type to a specific organization. The main reason for choosing the EFQM model for analysis is the fact that it is one of the most famous models of excellence in Europe that helps modern organizations to measure, predict, monitor the needs and requirements of stakeholders and other organizations to follow. The implementation of the model involves certain difficulties which the author gathered and presented on the basis of independent research conducted in Poland, Spain and Norway, as described in the literature.
