IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROVISIONS OF THE SYNERGY- AND COMPETENCY-BASED APPROACH IN THE CONTEXT OF STUDENTS’ AUTONOMY DEVELOPMENT RESEARCH

Abstract

Summary The topicality of our research lies in the scientific rationale and theoretical justification of the problem of the implementation of the provisions of the synergy- and competency-based approach in the context of students’ autonomy development research. According to the scientists, one of the ways to renew the content and technology of education, align them with modern requirements, is to orient educational programs to the realization of the systematic, synergetic and competency-based approaches and create effective mechanisms for their implementation on an integral basis. The importance of the research is determined by the necessity to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the students’ autonomy development problem under the conditions of their educational and self-educational activities integration, which would be aimed to rationalize the urgency to enhance the efficiency of highly qualified specialists’ training as a functional result which may be achieved from the prospective of the improvement of the organizational and didactic components of the higher education in general and systematic and consistent influence upon the development of its central subject – a student’s personality.
