Improved safety in the use of electric energy in coal mines

Abstract
The article features the possibilities to develop a high-speed switching device. The device has been designed to work in dangerouns coal mines with gas- and coal dust explosion hazards. Once the switch is implemented, the number of accidents and breakdowns in coal mines is likely to decrease.
