IMPROVEMENT MECHANISMS OF FUNCTIONING OF REGIONAL LABOUR MARKET

Abstract
Purpose – development of project of improvement the functioning of the regional labor market (example in Dnipropetrovsk region). Methodology of research. For the writing of article it were used methods: monographic description – for the detailed study of regional labor market; logical synthesis - to justify new scientific concepts and draw conclusions; system analysis – to review the regional labor market as a complex system; analysis and synthesis – to define the conceptual bases of research interpretation and implementation of basic concepts; graphic – for visual images and schematic presentation of research material. Findings. As the result of research were designated the main problems of regional labour market Dnepropetrovsk region, main of which are: shadowing of labour market, rising unemployment, especially among young people, mismatch of supply and demand. In this article was made a SWOT-analysis of the Dnepropetrovsk region, in which were found strengths and weaknesses of the region. Was made analysis of main economic indicators of activity of regional population, employment and unemployment, and demand for labour in the region and gender distribution of the population. Originality is to justify offered for the first time of the key areas of the labour market problems of the Dnipropetrovsk region in the face of rising instability in today's economy. Practical value. Research results and offered ways of decision of the problem may be used by the state for the improvement of the functioning of the regional labour market. Implementation of the project developed in the labour market will reduce unemployment and introduce innovative forms of employment. On the whole it will lead to increase of the main economic indicators in the country.
