IMPROVEMENT OF A TECHNIQUE MONITORING CAPITALIZATION OF THE BANKING SYSTEM

Abstract
Purpose is to develop a model for monitoring the level of capitalization of banks, which will provide a qualitative assessment of compliance of the bank's capital adequacy requirements set by Basel III. Methodology of research. The methodological basis of the study was a dialectical method that allowed to explore the place and function of monitoring the capitalization of the banking system. Graphical method used in the model monitoring the level of capitalization of banks. Through methods of analysis and synthesis of conclusions on the need and feasibility of practical application of research results. Findings. The study proved that for Ukraine, which is integrated into the world community, the formation of a stable banking system is a priority. Grounded need improvement model assessment of capital adequacy of the bank. The model of monitoring the capitalization of banks, which will allow establish a correspondence the bank's capital adequacy requirements set by Basel III. Originality is to develop practical recommendations for improving the monitoring model capitalization of banks, which will allow establish a correspondence the bank's capital adequacy requirements set by Basel III. Practical value. The model of monitoring the capitalization of the banking system that will provide qualitative evaluation of capital adequacy of banking institutions in the present and future time, will become the basis for planning and forecasting capitalization will allow for continuous monitoring of the level of capital adequacy of banks in accordance with the requirements stipulated by Basel III, to prevent threats crisis situations and to ensure to make informed management decisions on the effective management of the banking system as a whole.
