Abstract
The Computer Programming study programme of Klaipeda State College falls under the category of the first cycle (undergraduate) college studies. The study programme of Computer Programming of the study field of Inform atics is implemented at the Faculty of Technology and is supervised by the Department of Information Technologies. The Computer Programming study programme has been formulated on the basis of the Regulations on Undergraduate, Specialized Professional and Integrated Study Programmes and the Regulation on Informatics. By studying the Computer Programming study programme a student acquires knowledge, competences and skills necessary for a professional programmer. Acquisition of the Bachelor’s Degree in the Field of Informatics entitles the holder of the degree to continue studies in the next cycle of studies. Also the study programme is comprised of compulsory, alternative, specialized and optional subjects. The study programme has two distinct branches: Software Design and Information Services. All the subjects of the chosen study branch are compulsory. The learning outcomes of the Computer Programming study programme have been formulated on the basis of the general requirements of the Regulation on Informatics for study programmes. This article presents the newly developed study program requirements engineering system and shows how to apply it to systematize, analyze and evaluate the requirements of the Computer Programming study program of Klaipeda State College educational institution.
