IMPROVEMENT OF PUBLIC INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article deals with current problems of public investments management at the national and local levels. The share of local budgets in total public investments was determined. We enumerated the basic principles used by the local authorities in the EU when planning investments. We enumerated recent changes in the budget legislation of Ukraine concerning the efficiency improvement of the budget funds in the planning of capital expenditures to finance public investment from the state and local budgets. The main problems of public investments management system have been specified and solutions have been proposed.
