IMPROVEMENT OF THEORETICAL APPROACHES TO DEFINING THE ENTITY OF «COMPANY’S CREDITWORTHINESS»

Abstract
The article presents a complex analysis of theoretical approaches to the definition of “company’s creditworthiness” category. It is noted that the ambiguity of the definition and the variety of the main characteristics of the company’s creditworthiness due to the difference in order to participate in the credit relations of different participants, the size of the company, national or foreign borrower belonging, etc. Also, was justified interrelation of categories “creditworthiness”, “solvency”, “credit risk”, “debt capacity” of the company. Among all, in this article proposed to apply the category of “creditworthiness” not only in banking, but also in other financial activities, which are related to credit relationships.
