THE MARKET OF BREAD AND BAKERY PRODUCTS OF UKRAINE: STATE AND DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS

Abstract

The author analyzed the state of the market of bread and bakery products of Ukraine. In the article were considered the main factors affecting this market, the connection between the change in the volume of production of bread and bakery products and the change in the population of Ukraine. The author made a comparison of the actual level of consumption of bread and bakery products in Ukraine and their production volumes. The analysis made it possible to conclude that there is a “shadow” market for bread and bakery products in Ukraine. The author identified a number of causes and factors that influenced on the formation of more than 70% of the difference between the volume of production and consumption of bread and bakery products.
