IN PARTICULAR OF IDENTIFICATION AND MUSIC, EMIRDAĞ KARACALAR KOYU BACI SULTAN CONVERGENCE ANNIVERSARY ACTIVITIES

Abstract
Emirdağ Karacalar village is a place where people indiscriminate sects and faith, live peacefully in sence of unity. About 700 households experiencing different faith and cultures are able to express themselves. In the village, May 6 Hidirellez, March 21 Nevruz Celebrations, 10 Muharram Asure, October 10 Imam Huseyin mourners are traditionally held. Alll the features of the Karacalar village cab be seen in the Bacı Sultan Convergence Anniversary Activities which has been held since 1966 July 30. In these events, regadless to the sects and religious, the hearts unity is achieved, shaping the peaceful environment. In this study, Karacalar village in particular Bacı Sultan Convergence Anniversary Activities identification and music were focused. During the study, information was gained about Karacalar village and Bacı Sultan activities, structured interviews were conducted in the scope of the survey to obtain data on the subject. Executive elements of music, texture, structural features and specifications, which take an important place in the activities, have been examined. The obtained datas were analyzed according to the qualitative research techniques. It is thought that the work will be a source for research on identity and music.
