INCREASE OF STRENGTH AND WATER RESISTANCE OF GYPSUM BENDING BY NANODISPERSE MINERAL ADDITIVES
Journal Title: Збірник наукових праць Українського державного університету залізничного транспорту - Year 2017, Vol 171, Issue 5
Abstract
The article is devoted to the investigation of the effect of mineral additives on the water resistance of building gypsum. The results of experimental studies of the effect of additives of slag and nanodispersed alumina on the strength and water resistance of gypsum stone are presented. Electron-microscopic studies of the structural features of the material obtained are performed. It has been established that the joint introduction into gypsum of blast-furnace granular slag and nanodispersed alumina provides an increase in the strength and water resistance of gypsum stone. According to the results of electron microscopic studies, it is established that the improvement of the physicomechanical properties of gypsum stone is due to the compaction of its structure and an increase in the proportion of electroheterogeneous contacts.
