Increasing the reliability of distributed systems with Petersen coil.

Abstract
This work involves analyzing of increasing the reliability of power lines by using their own noise for automatic adjustment of Petersen coil in ductance. Experimentally obtained periodograms of unbalance voltage and one-phase fault-to-earth transient response modeling results are provided. In this article, actual theoretical and practical problem of increasing efficiency of the 6 - 35 kV electric networks by improvement adjustment methods of capacitive current compensation device (Petersen coil) was solved. Artificial excitation of zero-phase sequence loop hastens the wearing of insulation and can lead to increased levels of overvoltage in the network, and thus leads to reduced durability and efficiency of electric network usage. Zero-phase sequence loop with non-rounded midpoint wire is constantly excited by white nose of power systems, and reaction to this excitation can be observed on zero -phase sequence voltage in range at least 17-150 Hz. Functional dependency of frequency of maximum level of spectral density of unbalanced zero -phase sequence voltage of electric network from resonance frequency of zero-phase sequence was discovered. The efficiency of automatic adjustment device that is using new informational parameter - frequency of maximum level of spectral density of noise power in zero -phase sequence loop was confirmed by experiments and in practice by deployment on Kirov Electric Networks company.
