INDIVIDUAL CREDITING IN UKRAINE: THE MODERN STATE AND ACTIVITIES OF STIMULATION

Abstract
In conditions of economic crisis and political instability, when banks constantly change the conditions of crediting, there is a need for additional research aimed at studying aspects of individual crediting and the behavior of banks in the consumer crediting market. The article deals with crediting of individuals in Ukraine. In particular, the volumes and structure of individual crediting for 2013-2017 were analyzed; the structure of individual crediting by currency of credit was investigated. It was found that for the analyzed period there was a decrease in the volume of individual crediting. The growth of individual crediting in foreign currency is due solely to an increase in the exchange rate over the research period. For the purpose of more thorough analysis, a group of eight largest banks of Ukraine was formed and analyzed the share and structure of individual credits in the structure of these banks' credit portfolios. The recommendations for the development of individual crediting were created at the final stage of the research, aimed at both activating banks and stimulating individuals to use credit resources. It was generalized that in order to increase the volumes of individual credits, it is first of all necessary to influence the banks, encouraging them to lend to individuals, develop new credit programs and credit products, etc. But the long-term growth of individual crediting can only be achieved through positive macroeconomic changes.
