INDIVIDUALLY-AUTHOR’S NOMINATION OF PERSONS IN THE NOVEL «PARADISE» BY VASYL BARKA

Abstract
The article is devoted to the consideration of individual author’s neologisms in VasylBarka’s works. The subject of the analysis was neologisms on the designation of persons in the novel «Paradise», which today is little investigated.The article analyzes the semantics, creation and functioning of author’s neo-lexem names of individuals. Lexical-semantic groups of these nominations are distinguished: names of persons by activity, names of persons according to psychological properties, names of persons in appearance, by age, names of persons according to political preferences. The article deals with the creation of author’s neo-lexem nominations of persons. The main methods of their creation – suffixation and composition are revealed. The aesthetically important component of the language-expressive system of Vasyl Barka is the individually-author’s lexical neologisms. According to the research material, author’s neo-lexemes, the names of persons often perform an estimated role. Through the using of neologisms, author presents his own assessment of a certain phenomenon. The article focuses on the evaluative and expressive role of individually-author’s names of persons in the novel.
