Influence of Composite Neoprene upon the Energy Internal Dissipation in case of Harmonic Process
Journal Title: Romanian Journal of Acoustics and Vibration - Year 2009, Vol 6, Issue 2
Abstract
This paper presents the approach performed on viscoelastic systems with such geometrical configuration determining the behaviour as composite neoprene, tested under dynamic regime in two distinct cases, as follows: - system having kinematical excitation and constant amplitude and - system having dynamic excitation under inertial regime for the perturbing force generation. Basing on both the dynamic response analysis and the dissipated energy inside the viscous element and assembly, it results in evaluation of the mechanical work in two different ways as a function of the exciting system parameters as well as the viscous force parameter. This paper shows the different performance ways of the dissipated mechanical work depending on both the kinematical parameter changing (pulsation, amplitude) and the viscous damping factor.

Exact Controllability in Oblique Gridworks Structures
The article studies the problem of the exact internal controllability on a gridwork structure that depends on two small parameters ε and δ . The controll is provided by the HUM method (Hilbert Uniqueness Method). We appl...
Stress Intensity Factor vs. Transversal Deflection - How to Determine the Damage Severity?
This paper compare two methods to determine the severity of a damage occurring in cantilever; the first method is well-known in the literature and base on an approach from fracture mechanics, while the second is contrive...
Gain-Frequency Characteristics for Several Models of Stratified Geological Medium
Gain-frequency characteristics of displacements of daylight area at forced oscillations are studied. Several models utilizing a layer sitting on top of a basement are considered. Together with a classical model (consider...
Dynamic Response Analysis of the Road System Compaction According to the Forced Vibration Mode
Mechanical systems are composed of elements of movement, elastic rigid bodies and joints. If referring to moving elements they are materialized by bodies of different geometrical configuration and are connected to each o...
Noise Attenuation by Using Special Shape Robber Panel
Within the last few years, concern about the protection of the environment has grown rapidly as it has become generally recognized that the steady rise in pollution of all kinds cannot be allowed to continue indefinitely...
