INFLUENCE OF ELECTRONIC WORKFLOW ON THE EFFICIENCY OF THE ENTERPRISE

Abstract
Organizational-methodical aspects of electronic document management were considered in this article, as well as advantage of electronic document management system such as time saving, increase in transparency of enterprise internal work, enhanced flexibility of workers’ location, increase of information and documents security, more proper usage of space and technics, conducting history of files and the accompanying documentation, increase satisfaction level enlarge of workers and directors, reduction expenses on press, stamps, envelopes and transfers reduction. The basic differences between electronic and paper workflow are characterized. Modern information technologies which can be applied by optimization of workflow at the enterprise are investigated. Modern programs which are applied to increase enterprise’s activity efficiency are analysed, among than are: Documentum, LanDocs, «Delo», DocsFusion & DocsOpen, OptimaWorkflow, M.E.Doc. Electronic workflow systems use allows enterprise to optimize its workflow and reduce both expenses of time, and material inputs to maintenance workflow process of the enterprise. Generally it is necessary to note not only corporate effect, but also economic efficiency of electronic workflow system at the enterprise.
