The aim of the research was to measure the reaction of body posture control system to small change in position of body in relation to floor. Material and methods. Measurements were performed with eyes open and closed in order to assess the influence of visual signal on reaction of body posture control system to change in position level. The authors tried to define if basic anthropometric parameters had any influence on reaction of body posture control system to small height change. Results. Results were compared with results obtained in classical perturbation test performed in people who do not practice judo and in judoists. Conclusions. The study confirmed that small changes in position relative to floor significantly interfered with body control system. In conclusion perspectives on further research were presented.
