Influence of nanoparticles of Сu 7 GeS 5 I superionic conductor on dielectric properties of planar-oriented nematic liquid crystal 6СВ

Abstract
The influence of Сu 7 GeS 5 I nanoparticles on the dielectric properties of planar- oriented liquid crystal 6CB has been investigated within the frequency range 6...10 6 Hz at the temperature 293 K. The concentration of nanoparticles varied within the range 0 to 0.1 wt.%. It has been shown that the Сu 7 GeS 5 I nanoparticles considerably less increase the conductivity of the liquid crystal (only by 1.3 times at their maximum concentration) than Сu 7 PS 6 ones, influence of which on the conductivity of the same liquid crystal we investigated earlier (24-fold increase in the conductivity at the same concentration of nanoparticles). It has been assumed that the main mechanism of conductivity changes when introducing Сu 7 GeS 5 I nanoparticles is the transfer of charge through nanoparticles. This mechanism of charge transfer is characterized by a rather strong dependence of the conductivity of the liquid crystal on the frequency and is experimentally observed especially at the maximum concentration of nanoparticles.

Thin dysprosium oxide films formed by rapid thermal annealing on porous SiC substrate
In this paper, we consider the effect of rapid thermal annealing (RTA) on the properties of Dy 2 O 3 film formed on the surface of a substrate with a por-SiC/SiC structure. The atomic composition of the films under study...
Acoustic-stimulated relaxation of GaAs1–хPх LEDs electroluminescence intensity
The effect of ultrasonic (US) treatment on electroluminescence of initial and irradiated with 2-MeV electrons (Φ = 8.24∙1014 e/cm2) GaAs-GaP LEDs grown on solid solution base was studied. It was found that luminescence i...
Influence of mirror image forces on dispersion and phonon acoustic mode width of quasi-Rayleigh wave interacting with adsorbed atom
The dispersion law of elastic surface acoustic waves and the energy width of the surface acoustic mode are found to the long-wave approximation depending on the concentration of the adsorbed atoms and the deformation pot...
Influence of the composition of (TlGaS2)1–х(TlInSe2)x solid solutions on their physical properties
The single crystals of (TlGaS2)1–х(TlInSe2)х (х = 0…0.5) solid solutions have been grown up. The photoelectric, X-ray dosimetric, dielectric and optical characteristics of the (TlGaS2)1-х(TlInSe2)х solid solutions with v...
Modeling of X-ray rocking curves for layers after two-stage ion-implantation
In this work, we consider the approach for simulation of X-ray rocking curves inherent to InSb(111) crystals implanted with Be+ ions with various energies and doses. The method is based on the semi-kinematical theory of...
