Abstract
The article analyzes the influence of the policy of absolutism on the formation of legislation in the Austrian monarchy in the XVIII century. The peculiarities of the development of the policy of Austrian absolutism in the investigated period are noted. The author focuses on the fact that in the XVIII century. significant progress was made in the development of legislation in the Austrian monarchy in the eighteenth century.
