Informatics aided QSRR study of retention index of some volatile compounds
Journal Title: Eurasian Chemical Communications - Year 2019, Vol 1, Issue 0
Abstract
In the present work, an artificial neural network (ANN) model was used to study the quantitative structure retention relationship (QSRR) of retention index (RI) of some volatile compounds in natural cocoa and conched chocolate powder. Molecular structural descriptors are selected using genetic algorithm to construct the nonlinear QSRR models, kernel partial least squares PLS (KPLS) and Levenberg- Marquardt artificial neural network (L-M ANN) were employed.

Adsorption of proline amino acid on the surface of fullerene (C20) and boron nitride cage (B12N12): A comprehensive DFT study
In this study, the performance of fullerene (C20) and boron nitride cage (B12N12) as a sensing material for detection of proline was evaluated by density functional theory. For this purpose, the structures of proline, C2...
Theoretical study for evaluation of corrosion inhibition performance of two thiocarbohydrazide inhibitors
Molecular dynamics (MD) simulation and Density functional theory (DFT) methods were applied to the two thiocarbohydrazides derivatives (T1 and T2) as corrosion inhibitors for carbon steel in aqueous phase. Experimental r...
Photosensitization of coronene–purine hybrids for photodynamic therapy
Photosensitization properties of coronene-purine (Cor-P) hybrids for photodynamic therapy (PDT) have been investigated in this work. Eight hybrid Cor-P models have been designed by the additional of adenine (A) and guani...
QSAR models to predict physico-chemical Properties of some barbiturate derivatives using molecular descriptors and genetic algorithm- multiple linear regressions
In this study the relationship between choosing appropriate descriptors by genetic algorithm to the Polarizability (POL), Molar Refractivity (MR) and Octanol/water Partition Coefficient (LogP) of barbiturates is studied....
Synthesis of graphene oxide-Melamine – TioOxalic acid nanocomposite and its application in the elimination of Mercury (II) ions
In this study a new method by Application of graphene oxide Nano sheets– Melamine –TioOxalic acid composite was exhibited as adsorbent for the elimination of toxic mercury (II) ions from aqueous solutions. The combine ha...
