INFORMATION as linguocognitive concept

Abstract
The article deals with the description of linguocognitive concept notion, which is examined on the basis of the concept INFORMATION. Theoretical background of linguocognitive concept is analyzed as well as its nucleus and periphery. The concept INFORMATION is considered on the material of dictionary definitions and gnomic utterance.
