INFORMATION DUTIES OF ENTREPRENEUR TOWARDS THE CONSUMER IN CONTRACTS CONCLUDED IN UNUSUAL CIRCUMSTANCES, UNDER THE NEW CONSUMER LAW

Abstract
The right to information is governed by many legal acts, and their review can be started with the Basic Law, and ended up on executive acts. However, regulations concerning the information and its significance for consumer rights have precise nature. Protection by the information that is the credo of consumer policy was based on the assumption that one of the instruments of consumer protection is a transfer order of provided by law information, by the entrepreneur, necessary for the consumer to take the right decision. Currently no one questions the right of consumers to information. On the contrary - the importance of information is becoming more and more appreciated by the legislature, which is re_ected in Polish legal system from 25th December 2014 the Act of 30th May 2014 about consumer rights. The purpose of this publication, a`er explaining what is meant by contracts in unusual circumstances, is a detailed analysis of the obligations imposed on the entrepreneur towards the consumer on the canvas of the Act about consumer rights, mentioned above. The publication discusses the information duties to fulfill which the entrepreneur is obliged on the basis of contracts concluded in unusual circumstances and, therefore, remote agreements and contracts away from business premises.<br/><br/>
