INFORMATIONAL INFLUENCE IN SOCIAL NETWORKS: AN OVERVIEW OF PARAMETERS AND SPECIFIC QUALITIES

Abstract

Stemming from the fact that social networks have become a powerful platform for human communication, the article focuses on the term "informational influence". It is stated that unlimited possibilities to create interest groups and to manage informational flows define the specifics of informational influence on the Internet. The content of information, as well as specificity of interrelations and interactions between the members in the group is to be in the focus of research attention. It is concluded that informational influence should be analyzed as a complex dynamic phenomenon with nonlinear development.
