INNOVATION AND INVESTMENT BASIS FOR THE GROWTH OF THE AGRARIAN SECTOR OF ECONOMY

Abstract
Introduction. The main indicator of the country's economic development is the gross domestic product. Statistics show that starting from 2013 GDP growth rates in Ukraine are negative. At the same time, investment volumes in the economy, in general, and in agricultural production, in particular, decrease. Therefore, there is an urgent need for radical changes in the economic system, first of all, in agriculture. The main role belongs to innovations and investments in solving the problems of the country's exit from the crisis, ensuring a dynamic sustainable development of the country's economy. Methods. A systematic approach, analysis, synthesis, deduction and induction are used to substantiate the innovation and investment model of the agrarian sphere development of the national economy. Results. Ukraine has a significant natural, climatic and scientific potential, which may and must become the basis of the country's agricultural development on an innovative basis. But the current state of financing and logistics of science, scientific personnel, does not contribute to its effective implementation. Therefore, the priority task is to create an effective legal framework for investment and innovation development of the national economy, in general and the agrarian sector, in particular, which will stimulate private and public entities to develop and implement innovative projects. Discussion. In the context of the Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine, the adoption of an innovation and investment model for the development of the national economy is a non-alternative way to ensure the competitiveness of domestic production and create an economic base for the introduction of high social standards for the population of our country.
