Innovation aspects OF UKRAINE COMPETITIVENESS

Abstract
This paper investigates the innovative part of the country's competitiveness based on the analysis and evaluation of the current state of innovativeness of Ukrainian enterprises. Innovative activity of enterprises was defined as a key factor in improving the country's competitiveness. The innovatively-active enterprises, that carry out the development, introduction of new or improved products, services and methods of transfer processes are the basis for innovational development. However, economic, financial, material and technical state of enterprises is not conducive to the development of innovative processes. The basic indicators characterizing innovativeness of Ukrainian companies was analysed as well as the fact that the proportion of companies that have some development with the introduction of effective technologies that can produce the products according to the international standards, is insignificant. The factors, that prevented enterprises to innovate, were defined.
