Abstract
The article describes human impact on the environment and the consequences of the spread of technocratic technology. It assesses the prospects of cities and rural settlements on the extrapolation principles of the identified trends. The article offers a mechanism of self-development areas «urban-rural» as a holistic systemsynergetic complex on the basis of Gestalt.
