Insilco Homology Modeling of Contactin 5 Protein which is Responsible for Diabetic retinopathy

Abstract

Diabetic retinopathy, the most common diabetic eye disease, occurs when blood vessels in the retina change. Sometimes these vessels swell and leak fluid or even close off completely. In other cases, abnormal new blood vessels grow on the surface of the retina. Diabetic retinopathy is caused by damage to blood vessels of the retina. The retina is the layer of tissue at the back of the inner eye. It changes light and images that enter the eye into nerve signals that are sent to the brain. Using pattern searching method, motif and domain region of contact in 5 proteins has been predicted. Studies on gene profiling using a review show the functional part of the target gene.3D structure of contact in 5 proteins were modeled by using CPH server.
