INSTANTANEOUS READING OF A MUSICAL TEXT - A PREREQUISITE FOR THE OPTIMAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE FUTURE TEACHERS IN MUSIC

Abstract
The present paper envisages the activity "reading at first sight" that is so necessary for the future pedagogical work of the students. The technique of "prima vista" reading itself has ancient roots and traditions. Its mastering requires: an existence of note literacy, a certain auditory level and instrumental skills and dexterities. The paper also reviews certain specific problems that are connected with the peculiarity of the instrument /accordion/ as well as the difficulties arising in the process of reading music texts. The cultivation of this habit must be stimulated for the purposes of studying a larger volume of musical material which in turn will serve as a basis for expanding and enriching the artistic culture of future pedagogues.
