Institutional / neoinstitutional-oriented theory and model of government minority in parliamentary democracies

Abstract
The article is dedicated to analysing the institutional/new institutional-oriented theories and models of minority governments in parliamentary democracies. The researcher singled theoretical and methodological perspectives of research and explanation of minority governments and revealed that the institutional/new institutional-oriented theories and models of minority governments are relevant and effective as they are able to define the causes and characteristics of minority governments on the basis of such institutional factors/incentives as system and powers of parliamentary committees, votes of confidence/no confidence rules, systems of government and types of political regimes.
