Interactive Technology Aided in Teaching and Learning for Engineering Education Aligned with IR 4.0

Abstract

There are many different ways for people to be educated and trained with regard to specific information and skills they need through teaching and learning methods. Varieties of methods has been used includes classroom lectures with notes, computers, handheld devices and other electronics appliances. The roles of technologies have given the choice of teaching and learning innovation depending on an individual’s access to various interactive technology and the awareness of the changes. As a results, the manufacturing industry relies on new design concepts and methods undertake the challenges in integrating technologies to expedite the march towards industrial revolution 4.0. This paper reviews numbers of publications which concern and investigates the current context of the use of interactive technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing (CADCAM), aided teaching and learning benefits the students and lectures in Engineering Education by revolutionize the way students learn, independent learning, enhance communication attitude and engaging more collaborative student’s behaviour with both their peers and instructors
