Abstract
The article explores turbulent verbalization of art synthesis in the Sterne-Joyce phase shift based on “Albert” by L.N. Tolstoy and “The Dead” by J. Joyce. It reveals self-organization of intermedial context-text-subtext: the verbal leitmotif in the associative network of musical impression, augmentation of meaning in the intermedial continuity and circulation, verbalization of musical constants of the epoch that dissipate verbalized revelations.
